        About Triple Negative Breast Cancer
        Understanding TNBC helps us support Leann better

        Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) is a type of breast cancer that tests negative for estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, and excess HER2 protein. This means it does not respond to hormonal therapy, making it more challenging to treat than other breast cancer types. Treatment typically involves a combination of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. TNBC is more common in younger women and can be aggressive — but many people respond well to treatment. Leann is in excellent hands, and with community support, she is not walking this road alone.
